Standard Features

  • All milling, drilling, support sheet screwing and marking on PVC profiles are computer controlled and assembled in one machine
  • It is controlled by two servo motors that act as gantry of the X axis and operations are performed without the movement of the profile
  • Pre-cutted 10 profiles can be stacked (Max.4 mt.)
  • Barcode reading system makes it easy to enter profiles and process sequences.
  • It makes water drain slots, drilling and milling operations at predetermined fixed angles.
  • Automatic reinforcement screwing
  • Mounting, triple handle and hinge holes are drilled with reinforcement
  • File transfer by USB or ethernet network, remote desktop connection by WiFi or Ethernet connection
  • Central lubrication system reduces the time spent on maintanence
  • With remote connection method, service and connection to all automation systems to detect and solve problems
  • Barcode reader
  • Online diagnostic and troubleshooting via user friendly interface.

  • Industrial PC Based Servo Control System (Beckhoff)
  • Private HMI software developed by Schtec Software Departmant allows different kinds of window design program data files to be uploaded on this machine.

Product Description

The SCHTEC SMC 305 simplifies production by combining milling, drilling, steel reinforcement screwing, and marking of PVC profiles in one machine. Capable of processing profiles up to 4 meters, it features a 10-profile stacking capacity, ideal for small to medium workshops. With a dual-servo motor gantry X-axis, the profile remains stationary while operations are carried out with high precision. An integrated barcode scanner and automatic job sequence recognition optimize production time. The 9.8 kW motor, centralized lubrication, and Beckhoff-controlled 15” touchscreen offer an efficient and user-friendly production experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find quick answers to common questions about our Profile Processing & Cutting Centers for PVC Profiles

1. What is the main advantage of a Profile Processing & Cutting Center?

A Profile Processing & Cutting Center is a fully automated CNC machine that combines multiple operations into a single, continuous workflow. Instead of moving profiles between separate machines for cutting, milling, drilling, and screwing, these centers perform all processes in one integrated station. This drastically reduces production time, minimizes labor dependency, eliminates manual errors, and optimizes the factory floor space.
Schtec's CNC centers are highly versatile. They can perform all necessary operations on PVC profiles, including: cutting at any angle (e.g., between 30-150 degrees), milling water slots, drilling for handles and hinges, marking parts, and even automatic reinforcement screwing on advanced models. The CSML 240 and SMC 360 can be equipped with optional screwing units to create a complete, end-to-end processing solution.
Our centers use a high-performance industrial PC-based control system (from our partner Beckhoff) that manages high-torque servo motors on all axes. This allows for positioning accuracy of up to 0.1 mm. The axes move on hardened steel rack-pinion and ball screw systems with central lubrication, ensuring smooth, repeatable, and accurate movement at high speeds for many years.
The infeed magazine, or loading station, allows operators to load multiple raw PVC profiles (often 8 to 11 bars) at once. The machine then automatically feeds, processes, and cuts each profile according to the pre-loaded job list. This feature dramatically reduces idle time, minimizes operator dependency, and enables continuous, "lights-out" manufacturing, which is a massive boost to overall productivity. The SMC 320 and SMC 360 feature an elevator system to further reduce loading times.
To ensure seamless integration into a modern digital factory, our machining centers are designed to be fully compatible with all major window design programs. Job files can be transferred to the machine via Ethernet (network connection), Wi-Fi, or USB. The system can also be equipped with a barcode reader to instantly load the correct job for a specific profile, eliminating manual entry errors and ensuring maximum data accuracy from the office to the factory floor.
